Hey! Last year I experienced a knee injury and surgery quite similar to yours; i fractured 1/4 of the bone and cartilage clean off my kneecap simply by doing a little jump. The first doctor I saw told me nothing was wrong, but then, like you, I went to OmahaOrthoSports (and I agree, they are wonderful there. I was treated by Dr. Jana, I don't know about you). Anyways, he told me to check out this website! It's great to know I'm not the only one with gruesome and freaky knee injuries.

When playing GH, do what I do and just SIT DOWN.

I got no girls from playing guitar hero but i told myself if i keep practicing and i become a guitar hero i could eventually have one talk to me. so i got 94% average on every song and i showed it to this one ugly girl at school and she wouldn't even talk to me then i invited her fat friend over and showed her my skills and unfortunately i only scored like 89% and she was not impressed but she did let me cuff her left boob through her shirt so i guess guitar hero is a good thing for people to play. A fat girl can lose the weight but and ugly one will always be that way.

Its okay...I know how you feel. Guitar Hero caused me to have a mild seizure due to the flashing lights and repetetive headbanging motions. I will admit it was mostly my fault for skipping my seizure meds that day, but it is still an epic moment in history, known to my friends and family as 'that night when Punky fell onto her guitar and broke it and we all thought she was bsing around until we realized she wasn't getting up'

Dear Jimmy,

My guitar broke on a holiday weekend and I am gutted, totally lost and I have even cried.

Then while searching the Internet for other sad Guitar Hero stories I came across your page.
You ROCK mate, and I feel like a looser for crying over my broken guitar.

YOU broke your BONES and that is so kool.

IN your honor I have posted your story to our Australian Topix Forum so that others might feel your pain of what it *really* takes to Rock.

We salute you.

Topix Editor; mostly numb but good.

I can not simply believe you broke your knee while playing Guitar Hero. you must have landed on it just right.

Dude!
First of all, I am sorry to hear of all your troubles! As someone who recently injured her own knee in a ridiculous way, your website has put a smile upon my face and a feeling of solidarity in my heart.
I dislocated my right knee doing a stripper pole trick on a moving subway...
It was a perfectly executed spin, but on the landing I heard a POP, felt my leg buckle, and looked to see my kneecap pointing out at a seriously disturbing angle.
Imagine having to explain that to an EMS guy in between your screams of agony.
Anyway, I go to the Doctor today to learn my fate...
Good luck on your continuing recovery. I think this website is brilliant!!

Dude really? Your blaming GH? Oh come on. How does a piece of plastic brake your knee? I am sorry if that really happened but it doesn't seem likely.
